Personality

Jonusz is a sensitive man with an eye for the small things in life. Whereas everyone else seems to be rushing to their goals, he prefers to 'rather stroll slowly and enjoy the moment". He is always out of money; may it be due to his irregular income or the fact that he gives his leftovers to his family or beggars on the street. His living space is constantly cluttered, being full of strange flowers, paint and anything else that caught his eye once. Jonusz generally feels uncomfortable in clean and organized environments, which makes him unconsciously disorganize the rooms of his friends even.

He cherishes friends immensely and has a wide circle of contacts. Always open to meet and have a talk together. Jonusz would do anything for his closest friends, even giving up on all his accomplishments. Friends adore that he always has something to talk about and can make the worst jokes funny again.
Despite most of his thoughts never crossing his tongue, Jonusz is a hopeless romantic. He always has a romantic crush on someone and has experienced love on first sight several times already. He will fall for the smallest details of a person (e.g. The laugh, the way their finger move, the hair. Anything).

Jonusz feels to be a disappointment for his close family but also gave up trying to be someone he is not. Instead he bathes himself in the lazy, irresponsible image of an artist which he created for himself. This process also included returning to his grandfather's surname to avoid any direct association with his hard-working brother/father and thus preventing the burden of comparison.
Yet he still loves his family, especially the understanding women because they don't radiate pressure but pity instead, which nurtures his soul. He also has a very close relationship to his cousin Elena as they both were the only children within the same age in their extended family.

If faced with failure, Jonusz blames himself in any aspect, saying that he just wasn't good enough for the task. On the other hand, possible successes are the results of pure luck or the mercy of another person. Thus, there are times when his mood drops horribly low and the man starts questioning life itself.
Unfortunately, those times seem to produce the most successful art pieces which makes him turn to his melancholic side with increased frequency. Nevertheless, he loves his works, labeling it as the only way to truly express who he is. If he could only decide for one passion instead of switching around constantly.
